| so i haven't wrote a blog on here in forever... so i thought i would just post something to see if anyone actually still reads them..hahaha

| so these past few weeks have been probably the most stressful and the longest weeks in a long time...
it was amazing to finally get a nap in today...
this weekend was crazy... i felt like i was constantly moving... never getting a moments rest...
if you didnt know already my uncle past away this saturday... about 20 years ago he was diagnosed with cancer... went into remission... got sick again in about 1992... got better and then got sick again this past year... even though he knew that he wasnt doing good at all he didnt go to the doctor till this past month.
things were definitely bad... his cancer had come back.. and it had spread to his lungs and liver... but they still were hopeful that he would have a few months to live... that ended up only being a week due to some complications he had... he just didnt have the fight in him anymore...
so i went home this weekend knowing that the funeral would be soon... and then sunday flew to north carolina to be with my dad... the visitation and funeral were monday... it was weird.. i never thought in my wildest dreams that the next time i would see my uncle would be in a casket... i just couldnt handle it.. but i could break down cause i had to be strong for my dad... i mean he lost his older brother.. it was hard... especially to watch my dad cry at the funeral...
my grandparents were taking it very hard as well... my grandfather was taking it especially hard since he got sick this summer... he just hasnt been as strong since then... its true about all parents.... your never supposed to bury your own children...
it was a good service though... i met a lot of family i havent ever met... and the service was beautiful... and then we went to the grave site for the actual burial... he was buried in a military grave yard... it was nice.. they did the whole military funeral... with the folding and presenting of the flag and even gun shots in his honor... and then they played taps... it was very touching... it was weird i had forgotten that my uncle was in the military.. he was actually a captain when he retired from the service...
anywho... i just got back to knoxville on tuesday afternoon.. and spent all day cramming with tons of work... but its all good cause i dont have class tomorrow/today... but i have an interview for a job (yay money!!!) and then an event for CEB... we are showing Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At Worlds End... its going to be awesome.. you should all come and support.. its completely free with a UT student id... its at the pool at the TRECS... there is food and drinks.. and if you want to swim you can!
well i think thats about all that has happened with me so far...
oh and i got a hair cut... yay! hahahaha

| ok so im back in knoxville...and it couldnt be any better... apartment is great..even though im not done unpacking...but oh well...
i've already done my grocery shopping for now...and got pretty much everything i need so i just have to finish unpacking and i can relax and have some fun...at least for now...
classes start back on wed. and im looking forward to it..but it is going to be a rough semester....but it'll happen...
well i guess thats all for now... knoxville is awesome...im good...life is pretty good...and well can't ask for too much more!

| so i had the scariest moment of my life last night.... not going to go into details on here.. but yeah... im pretty much the luckiest person alive.... less than a week!!!! hells yeah!!!! im so excited!!!!!!!!!!! KNOXVILLE HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| so everything is done.. its all worked out.. which means i can now breath... thank goodness! so im no longer living in grand forest... im now at crossing place.. which is cool cause im close to a lot of ppl now... but yeah im so ready to move... i might be going to birmingham to help my sis move before i go... but it just depends... if not im moving saturday.... well thats about it i think......... later! |
